The three counties of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester are famed for their musical association; the spectacular cathedrals of the three cities with their renowned choirs and organs and the beautiful landscapes from the Malvern Hills to the Cotswolds provided inspiration for some of England’s greatest composers. In this concert conducted by James Atherton, with Hilary Norris accompanying the choir on Leominster’s magnificent Nicholson pipe organ (recently restored), Leominster Choral Society will present a selection of choral classics.
